THEMATIC AREAS ON SEXUAL AND REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH RIGHTS PROJECT

PILLAR	STRATEGIES
Sexual and Reproductive Health Project Triple Threat	Teenage Pregnancy: SRHR awareness creation within schools and offers appropriate referrals. Provision of dignity packs and men wear to the vulnerable girls and boys within the learning institutions. Organize micro-session support groups within the community safe spaces targeting teenage mothers, on prevention mechanisms and towards triple threat and referral pathways. Additional Teenage Pregnancy Strategies: Offer age-based macro sessions to adolescent girls and boys within schools by using approved mentorship Manuals and tools, such videos, pictures, role plays etc. Coaching and mentoring AGYWs on financial literacy and management e.g. Table banking etc. Work on the return to school formulas in collaboration with key stakeholders for sustainability purposes. Formation of support groups of guardians and parents of the affected teenagers for psychosocial support and mentorship on parenting skills. CAGYHP will spearhead the identification of suspected new pregnancy cases from both schools and community and offer referrals for early testing and enrollment to the nearest health facilities for confirmation and enrollment to the ANC department.
New HIV Infection HIV Prevention	HIV Prevention Strategies: Create community awareness, through skirts, community outreaches within the safe spaces. Design simple presentational tools such as flyers with key messages on HIV prevention mechanisms and referral pathways such as PrEp, PEp and condom use. Offer appropriate referrals to the affected youths. Offers psychosocial micro sessions targeting newly diagnosed Adolescents and youths within the organization.
Sexual Gender-Based Violence SGBV Response	SGBV Response Strategies: Community sensitizations targeting adolescents' girls and boys and stakeholder's. Will aid in Advocacy and strengthening capacity of community paralegals on referral pathways. Behavior change communication, participant & empowerment for health promotion. Offer child protection services, which includes, rescue missions and appropriate services, as per the social protection framework.
